Hello again! I know it’s been awhile, been busy as all bloody hell but what’s new.  Working really hard on getting canvases and other painted materials ready for my first gallery opening in 15 years.  It’s alot of fun playing around on canvas again and messing with mediums that i haven’t touched in so very long. Wish I had more to report, but been busy doing other stuff too. Odd that as we age, the passion for the art doesn’t fade at all, but the shit we have to pile on top of it makes it even more a labour of love than it was when we were kids. I am sure plenty of you oldschool heads reading this can relate.

That being said, the picture you see are looking to be the few tried and true keepers of the torch around my area.  Doing the right thing like i mentioned before. Getting the technique down on paper before they go out making messes. Doing the art because its ART not because it’s crime.  I look forward to seeing these ones around a lot in the future.

As for me, sooo much more coming, but I’ll let you know when it comes.  Seems more things trying to happen than are actually happening lately, but I am sticking to my guns and trying to pass this thing on with all of it’s traditions and practices intact.  See y’all soon.

graffiti doesn't always have to be letters.Been slow here lately but I got a couple nice days to paint recently. Hoping to get out today to hit a thing or two but it’s hard to tell. There are a couple of other projects in the works to look forward to of course. Graffitimassive is starting to populate and the forum should be taking off and getting very busy soon. I am working on releasing my own brand of sketchbook in the very near future. This one will be a little different in that it will be geared toward people trying to learn and will have lessons in between some of the blank pages for easy reference and practice! More on that within the next couple of weeks. As always, there are a few canvases to be released soon and a jacket I am painting. Planning to travel over to Ohio for a special mission here soon also if the client and I can touch base on a timeframe and some other things. The pics for that one promise to be nothing short of amazing so look for it!

New graffiti style shirt just in time for Christmas!Here ya go! Another new shirt design(just click on the picture or THIS LINK). Trying to do some without letters on them for awhile. For some reason I have been inspired to do more drawing. Painting season is pretty much over out my way so plan on seeing alot more of the online projects and drawing showing up here. I have been doing alot of work on graffitimassive and trying to get it moving. Starting a new graffiti forum isn’t the easiest thing. People like to join but no one wants to start the conversation lol. Either way, I will be adding new graffiti pics to both galleries and starting some serious work on tutorials of how to draw graffiti letters. Needless to say, I am still doing custom tshirts so get your orders to me in time for the holidays!

As promised. Here is the 1st video in the series. This will be one of 6 or so(haven’t finished editing) in the series. My intention is to demonstrate to those that are trying to learn, some of what goes into painting on a wall. If anything, there ae multiple tips and tricks that you can pick up regarding graffiti letters, planning, spacing, filling and outlining your own pieces. I won’t even pretend that this is the way that everyone does it because there is no “way that everyone does it”. This isn’t even how I do it everytime. But still, for those who don’t have access to a writer in your area, this is at least something to learn from.

painting big fatty graffiti letters!Was a shitty overcast day today but I had to get something up for Halloween. That, and I wanted to make a video and maybe some step by step stuff for the site.  The editing is happening this weekend so hopefully I can have that put together and posted next week.  All in all, it came out okay. Definitely not my greatest feat, I made the mistake of working on the skull last because i was trying to conserve tape for the video, but its still worth posting I suppose.  Still waiting for graffitimassive to be back up.  I am hating JustHost right now.  Seriously. Of course, thats why I started my own hosting company I guess.  If you haven’t received an invitation to the gutterhost yet, get at me because I still have a couple of slots available.  I had to limit the accounts because I want it to be manageable. Its still a one man show so I want to be able to offer the best support possible.  In the meantime,  give hostgator a try. They are the best I’ve found so far.  Pics of todays painting will be in the gallery.
